How to Add Your Business

1. Visit the Manage Listing Page

Start by visiting our Manage Your Business Listing page.

This is where you can add a new business, claim an existing listing or update a business you already manage.

2. Verify Your Email Address

Enter your email address and request a One-Time Password (OTP).

We’ll send a verification code to your email address. Enter the code to verify that you own the email address.

There’s no need to create an account or remember a password.

3. Add or Claim Your Business

Once your email is verified, you can:

  • Add a new business if your business isn’t already listed.
  • Claim an existing business if your business is already in our directory but isn’t linked to your email address.
  • Manage your existing listing if you’re already the verified owner.

Before adding a new business, we recommend checking whether it’s already listed to avoid duplicates.

4. Complete Your Business Information

Provide as much relevant information as possible to help residents find and contact you.

Depending on your business, you may be asked for:

  • Business Name – The name your customers know you by.
  • Category – Choose the category that best describes your business or service.
  • Short Description – A quick introduction to what you offer.
  • Full Description – More information about your products and services.
  • Phone or WhatsApp Number – Make it easy for customers to reach you.
  • Email Address – Your preferred business contact email.
  • Website or Social Media Links – Include your website, Facebook page or other online profiles if available.
  • Address or Service Area – Let residents know where you operate, such as Durbanville, Crest, Goedemoed or Wellwaypark.
  • Opening Hours – Let customers know when you’re available, if applicable.
  • Business Logo or Photos – Add clear images to make your listing more attractive and trustworthy.

The available fields may change as we continue improving the directory.

5. Submit Your Listing

Once you’ve completed your information, submit your listing for review.

Our administrators will check that the submission is appropriate and relevant to our community.

6. Approval and Publication

Once approved, your business will appear in the CGW Community directory, where residents can discover your services and contact you directly.

If additional information is needed, you may be asked to update your submission.

Already Have a Listing?

You don’t need to submit your business again!

Visit the Manage Listing page, verify your email address using the OTP code and access your existing listing.

If your business is listed but hasn’t been claimed, follow the claim process to request ownership.

Once ownership is verified and approved where required, you’ll be able to maintain your business information.

Tips for a Great Business Listing
